Designers Have a Superpower (But Use It Wisely)

As a designer, you’re not just moving pixels. You’re shaping how people feel.

Your work can make someone smile.
Or cry.
Or rage-quit an app.
(hopefully not that last one 😅)

That ability to stir emotions through visuals, words, sounds, or stories is a privilege.

I consider it a superpower.
And not just for designers. This goes for anyone who creates:
Writers, musicians, filmmakers, illustrators, actors.
Anyone who can make another living being feel something through their craft.

That’s not a small thing.
That’s real power.

And like any power, it comes with responsibility.

Hold on to it.
Respect it.
Use it with care.
Use it for good.

Because no, AI doesn’t have this.
It can replicate. It can remix.
But it doesn’t feel, and I don’t think it ever should.

The moment machines start expressing true emotions is the moment we lose something deeply human.

So here’s to staying human.
To creating things that move people.
And to using that power with intention.
